Goncalves Earns MASCAC Rookie and Player of the Week Honors

Ernidia Goncalves (Fr., F, Everett, Mass.) -- Goncalves was named MASCAC Women's Basketball Rookie and Player of the Week after averaging a double-double of 18.5 points on 48.6% shooting (17-35) and 14 rebounds with four steals and three blocks in a 2-0 week for the Vikings.

The two-time conference rookie of the week notched a career-high 26 points, going 13-of-25 (52%) from the floor, with nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks in a 69-60 win over Eastern Nazarene. Goncalves then added 11 points, a career-best 20 rebounds, a steal, block and assist in a 66-62 win over Endicott College.
