Athletic Student Employment Opportunities

 

(Current Sports Information Positions Available)

- Photographer - 1 position (Filled)

  • Assist Salem State Athletics by capturing in-game action photos, candid shots & video highlights for each of its 15 varsity sports and special events.
  • Create and build graphic design elements to be used for brand building and communications efforts across social and digital platforms.
  • $15 per hour (10-15 hrs per week)

*Afternoon, Evenings, & Weekend availability is required.

- Content Creator, Game Releases - 1 position

  • Supports Salem State Athletics by writing home game press releases for salemstatevikings.com 
  • Provide game notes, rosters and other athletic department printed material 
  • $15 per hour (10-15 hrs per week)

(Current Home Game Management Positions Available)

Salem State Athletics has the following student positions open:

- Home Game Management/ Multiple Positions (Volleyball, Men's & Women's Basketball, Softball)    

  • Assist with the coordination of home event operations
  • Set up & break down of facility (scorer's table, bench area, court setup)
  • In game management: scoreboard operation, announcer, music, etc., libero tracker (volleyball), sideline officials (volleyball), spotters, general in-game assistance  
  • Willing to work outside in inclement weather
  • Minimal physical labor required
