DUDLEY, Mass. – Nichols swept Salem State 3-0 in women's volleyball action at the Nicholas Athletic Center on Thursday evening. The Bison won 25-8, 25-21 and 25-13 to improve to 2-2 on the year. The Vikings go to 1-6 on the season.
Hana Hogan (Lancaster, Calif.) led Salem State with six kills and a block. Eva Haralabatos (Melrose, Mass.) had 10 assists and Danielle Sheehan (Walpole, Mass.) 14 digs.
Haylee Granato recorded a team-high 13 kills (.440 hitting pct.) for Nichols.
Ryley Plourde filled the stat sheet with 10 kills, three service aces, two digs, and two assists. Nichols posted a .289 hitting percentage as senior Jayleen Fegan racked up seven kills (.375 hitting pct.) while junior Emily Tinyszin collected four kills.
