Vikings Sweep Huskies, Win Fourth in a Row

SALEM, Mass. -- Salem State blanked Southern Maine, 9-0 at The Central Campus Tennis Courts on Tuesday to win their fourth straight match (4-1) and remain unbeaten in Little East play at 2-0. The Huskies slide to 0-4 and 0-2 in conference.
Madison Sartori led the way picking up a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Muriel Lattin at No.1 singles and teamed with Kenzie McLaren for an 8-3 win at first doubles over Lattin / Katherine Dallaire. McLaren earned a 6-3, 6-1 decision at No. 2 doubles, defeating Dallaire. Ryann Tripp and Abigail Laliberte each registered 6-0, 6-1 wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles respectively. Erin Curristin remained unbeaten on the year (4-0) at No. 5 singles with a 6-2, 6-0 decision over Olivia Tabor while Alanna Bonneau rounded out the sweep with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
Laliberte / Tripp won 8-0 at second doubles and Alanna Zaldivar / Scarlet Chatham took home their first win of the season with an 8-0 shutout at third doubles.
