BEVERLY, Mass. – Salem State concluded their 2019 campaign with a 6-3 loss to UMass Boston at the Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly.  Anastasia Startseva (Volgograd, Russia) won her league-leading ninth decision against just one loss with a 6-3, 6-2 decision over Katie Gauthier (West Boylston, Mass.) at first singles.

Startseva / Meredith Macdonald (Lynn, Mass.) won their fifth in a row at first doubles with an 8-3 win over Gauthier / Valeria Tueme (Bonney Lake, Wash.). Alexandria Floyd (Burlington, Mass.) garnered the final point for Salem state with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Tueme at fifth singles.

Salem State ends their season with a record of 4-6 and 3-6 in the Little East. The Beacons improve to 13-1 and 8-1 in conference.
