Worcester State Tops Salem State 3-0

WORCESTER, Mass. -- Erin Condon (East Bridgewater, Mass.) scored a pair of goals as Worcester State defeated Salem State 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Coughlin Field in a MASCAC matchup. The Lancers are now 2-3 in conference and 3-9-1 overall. Salem State slides to 2-11 and 1-4 in the league.

Worcester State broke through in the 23rd minute as Condon knocked in her fourth goal of the season on an assist from senior Haley Samara (Worcester, Mass.). The Lancers tacked on another score less than three minutes later as Samara found Condon for a 2-0 Worcester State lead. The Lancers held an overwhelming 22-1 advantage in shots in the first half. 

Samara iced the game in the 69th minute as Worcester State only allowed three shots in the second half to coast to a 3-0 win.

Mallory Dupuis (Leominster, Mass.) saved three shots for the Lancers. Lily Pfefferle (St. Paul, Minn.) and Kelsey Francis (Peabody, Mass.) split time in goal for the Vikings, with each goalie making seven saves.
