Plymouth, N.H. -- Plymouth State scored a goal in both halves, which proved to be enough as the Panthers blanked Salem State 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Arold Field. Plymouth State remains unbeaten at 3-0 while the Vikings slip to 0-3.

Molly Bellmore (Hebron, Conn.) struck for the first goal in the 7th minute as the Panthers' offense controlled possession and put pressure on the Vikings all afternoon. Plymouth State doubled its lead in the 62nd minute when graduate student Cara Easter (Weare, N.H.) found the back of the net when junior Tess LeDuc (Marlborough, Mass.) served a corner to the top of the six and Easter volleyed it over the Vikings' goalkeeper.

Lily Pfefferle (St. Paul, Minn.) made 10 saves for Salem State in net. Sophia Holland (Barre, Mass.) was not credited with a save in the win.
