Bio

Ray Kizzie was hired as the Head Women’s Ice Hockey Coach in October of 2023.

Originally from Dallas, TX, Ray coached high school hockey for Grapevine/Colleyville 2016-2021. Accomplishments with GC hockey include State runner up in 2018, playoff championship in 2019, regular season, playoff championship and state appearance in 2021. Having served multiple roles with the Dallas Stars Elite Girls program 2019-2022, Ray joined Team Maryland of the EHL as an assistant coach in 2023.

Prior to coaching, Ray played two years of junior hockey before enrolling at Dallas Baptist University where he captained the team for three years. He graduated with his degree in Sports Management in 2015 and as the school’s all-time leader in assists and points for a defenseman.

Ray also serves as the intercollege coordinator for Salem State athletics.
