Norwich Skates to 4-1 Victory

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Anna Lisac notched a pair of goals and added an assist as Norwich posted a 4-1 victory over Salem State on Friday afternoon at Kreitzberg Arena in NEHC action. The Cadets move to 14-7 and 11-1 in conference while the Vikings move to 6-16 and 2-11.

How it Happened:

  • Emma Ramsey put the visitors in front early in the first with a goal at 11:46.
  • Madison Anderson answered for Norwich at 5:07 of the second, tying the game at 1-goal apiece.
  • Breanna Ricker made it a 2-1 game at 15:54 of the second. 
  • Lisac made it 3-1 just :56 seconds into the final period, before scoring the Cadets' fourth unanswered goal on the power play at 5:15 of the third.   

Inside the Numbers:

  • Leocadia Clark (10-7) stopped 11-of-12 shots to earn the win. 
  • Samantha Jaworski (2-5) made 39 saves in the loss.
  • Ricker and Anderson each finished with a goal and assist.

Salem State will square off against the Cadets again tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, February 7 @ 1:00 pm.
