Bazile Named Little East Co-Player of the Week

SALEM, Mass. -- Roni Bazile (Gr., Brockton, Mass.) Bazile was named Little East Co-Player of the Week, going 5-1 for Salem State (3-0) this week, earning victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles. Bazile manned the top singles spot in a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win against Thomas. Bazile took No. 2 singles in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1 in a win against Southern Maine while picking up an 8-2 No.2 doubles decision against the Huskies. Bazile won his third singes match with a 6-2, 6-0 No. 2 singles win against Castleton in addition to an 8-0 shutout at No. 2 doubles against the Spartans.
