Xavier Named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-New England Region Third Team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Senior Vanilton Xavier (Brockton, Mass.) was named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-New England Region II Third Team in an announcement on Tuesday, December 3. "To receive back to back all-region honors in my two years at Salem, I'm just extremely grateful", said Xavier. "Thank you to my teammates for putting me in a position to succeed and thank you to my coaches for pushing me to be the best I could be. This is a special program that has had many great players come through here. I'm humbled and honored to now be in the conversation with those past players. My time here was special, I'm a Viking for life!"
 
Xavier, a first team all-region selection a year ago, recently was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Offensive Player of the Year. Xavier was the Vikings leading scorer this year, finishing second in the league in points (18) and goals (7).
