Men's Ice Hockey Player Peyton Hughes Named Krampade AHCA All-American Scholar

SALEM, Mass. – Sophomore men's ice hockey player Peyton Hughes (Northridge, Calif.) has been named a 2022-23 Krampade/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholar, as announced by the AHCA. 

In order to qualify for all-american scholar honors, players must have achieved a 3.75 grade-point average or higher during the academic year and must have appeared in 40% of the team's total games played. Backup goaltenders and players that were injured prior to the 40% criteria were also granted acceptance into the program.

Hughes, appeared in all 27 games for the Vikings this season, recording three goals and three assists for Salem State.
