Head Coach Jimmy O'Reilly was pleased with his team's performance. "I am very proud of our effort today. It was cold and the wind was blowing at 30 MPH. Our guys hung tough and battled through. Brian Cannata played an incredible round of golf. He made a great birdie on 18 that gave us the extra shot cushion heading into tomorrow.
The championship, hosted by Mitchell College, is a two-day, 36-hole stroke play tournament. There are eight teams competing- Eastern Nazarene College, MCLA, Mitchell College, New England College, Salem State University, Springfield College, Westfield State University and Worcester State University.
