Animashaun Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week
SALEM, Mass. -- Hakeem Animashaun, the reigning GEICO MASCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week after averaging 41 points, including a carrer-high 46 points in an overtime win against Westfield State.
The junior shot on 72% from the field and averaged 12 rebounds and accumulated five blocks for the Vikings in two wins on the week. The junior scored 35 points and had 11 rebounds in a 98-81 win over Bridgewater State. He had 46 points on 17-23 shooting (73.9%) with 13 boards, and three blocks, including on a rejection on a game-tying attempt, in the Vikings 103-101 overtime win over Westfield State.
