Salem State Places Eight On 2019 Little East Fall All-Academic Team

PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- The Little East Conference office announced its 2019 Fall All-Academic Teams this afternoon. Salem State, which competes in field hockey and women's tennis, placed eight of its student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. 

To be named the LEC Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.

By the Numbers
14 student-athletes maintain a 4.00 cumulative GPA
54 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.90
119 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75
268 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50
