Boucher, Fisher Named to D3baseball.com All-Region Team

SALEM, Mass. -- Senior Jake Boucher (Wallingford, Conn.) and freshman Cam Fisher (Burlington, Conn.) were named to the 2024 D3baseball.com All-Region team. Boucher, a second team selection, excelled at both shortstop and on the mound for Salem State this year, helping the team capture a share of the MASCAC regular season title. As a shortstop Boucher batted .306 in 34 games, racking up 30 hits and 21 runs scored with a .983 fielding percentage. Boucher was also the top relief pitcher in the MASCAC, compiling a league-leading six saves while recording a 2-1 record with a team-best 1.45 ERA. 

Fisher, who was tabbed the MASCAC Rookie of the Year, led all freshman with a 6-1 record as a starting pitcher. A third team all-region pick, he enjoyed a stellar inaugural campaign, placing second in the conference with a 2.16 ERA while allowing just nine walks with a 1.18 WHIP.
