Bio

One of the most accomplished scorers to ever play at Salem State, Terri Niles ranks fifth all-time on the Salem State women’s basketball career scoring list with 1,542 points. During her tenure, Niles played on four Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference championship teams and was an integral part of four NCAA tournament teams, including the Lady Vikings 1996 “Sweet 16” squad, and the 1999 “Final Four” team. A four-time All-MASCAC selection, Niles still holds the school record for most three-pointers in a game with, 11 and a season with, 86, both achieved in 1997 when she was selected as the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and a first-team Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) member. During her senior season of 1999, Niles was selected to the ECAC, the New England Women's Basketball Coaches Association (NEWBA) and MASCAC first-teams after helping Salem State to a 29-2 record and a national semi-final appearance at the NCAA Tournament.
