Patricia O’Brien, a native of Dorchester, was an important member of the 1985-86 women’s basketball team which captured the College’s first ever national Championship. Tricia, who earned District I All-American honors during the 1987-88’season while serving as team captain, is the program’s third all-time leading scorer with 1,280 points. She is also third all-time with assists (338), steals (244) and games played (111). Tricia, despite playing guard, lists eight all-time among the program’s rebounding leaders with 501. She was selected team MVP as both a junior and senior.
