Joseph Sweeney
Bio
Joe served as head coach of the women’s tennis program and assistant coach in the men’s and women’s swimming program. Joe competed for the men’s tennis program at the age of 73 in 1985 while attending classes at SSC. His unusual feat brought a sea of publicity to the college with many major U.S daily newspapers featuring his crusade on its front pages. Joe has shown undying support to the SSC athletic program over the past two decades.
