Bio

Miguel Concepcion, MD graduated from University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2009.  After completing his residency at Tufts Family Medicine Residency, he went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Halifax Health in Florida.  He is currently board certified in Family Medicine, holds a CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualification) in Sports Medicine, and is a certified personal trainer.  In addition to his interest in preventive health for the whole family, he is also interested in women’s health procedures, injections, ultrasound, and concussion management.  He is on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Academy of Family Physicians as well as a clinical instructor at Tufts Medical School.

Dr. Concepcion joined Salem State Athletics in 2013. He enjoys exercising, traveling, salsa dancing, and spending time with his family.
