Moran, who was hired in July of 2025, will oversee the coordination and delivery of comprehensive medical care for the university's student-athletes, while also playing a key role in athletic department scheduling, operations, and healthcare administration.

Prior to Salem State, Moran served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Gordon College. During her tenure, she provided medical coverage for all 24 varsity teams and served as the primary liaison between the athletic department and local healthcare providers. From 2016 to 2018, Moran was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Old Dominion University where she supported 19 club sports and contributed to the development of department-wide policies and procedures. She holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Old Dominion University (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boston University (2016).

Moran is a board-certified athletic trainer licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and holds additional certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer.
