Bio

Andrew Gummow has been elevated to interim head coach for the 2023 baseball season. Gummow is entering his second season as a member of the Vikings' staff, and takes on his new role following the departure of head coach Jason Falcon.

"Andrew has been a valuable asset to the Viking baseball team since he joined the staff last year, and will help lead the program through this coaching transition. His knowledge of the game, recruiting experience, and previous work with the team will help the program continue to grow and succeed this spring."

A four-year catcher and former captain at Keene State, Gummow is currently the head coach and catching coach for Vikings Baseball (17U).   

Gummow was hired as a volunteer assistant in 2021. A four-year catcher and former captain at Keene State, Gummow is now a full-time assistant coach, who brings a tremendous amount of experience. Coach Falcon: "His abilities to work with catchers as well as hitters will be a valued piece to our success this season. His knowledge of the game and passion to teach will benefit each member of our team and we look forward to his time here at Salem State."
