Volleyball Closes Regular Season with 3-0 Victory over Salem State

Salem, Mass. - The Framingham State University volleyball team closed the regular season with a 3-0 victory over Salem State this afternoon in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) match at the Keefe Center.   

THE BASICS: 

-Scores:  Framingham State 3, Salem State 0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-12) 

-Records: Framingham State (18-10, 4-3 MASCAC), Salem State (8-11, 2-5) 

- Location: Keefe Center Salem, Mass.         

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams cruised to the victory by scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-12 and secured the fourth seed in next week's MASCAC Tournament. 

  • The Rams were led on the attack by 10 kills apiece from Natalie Reynolds and Hailey Sanders. Sanders recorded her 10 kills on 19 swings with just one error for a .474 attack percentage. 

  • Anna Szymanski finished the match with eight kills and nine digs, while Stella Bailey added 28 set assists and nine digs. 

  • Mackenzie Heaney paced the back row effort with a team-best 20 defensive digs, while Carly Beaulieu chipped in with 12 and Anneli DiVirgilio added 11.
