Salem State Women’s Soccer Receives Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Silver Award
Salem, Mass. – The Salem State women's soccer team was recently recognized by the Ethics Committee of United Soccer Coaches as a Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Silver Award Winner.
These awards recognize teams across the country for exhibiting fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game.
The Vikings earned their award for their play during the 2018 season, which ended with their first appearance in the conference final in 10 years. Four Lady Vikings were honored as All MASCAC performers, and this week 20 were named to the Fall MASCAC All Academic Team.
