SALEM, Mass. -  Meghan Hamilton (Walpole, Mass.) netted the game-winner 3:34 into overtime as Plymouth State came-from-behind to defeat Salem State 2-1 in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action on Friday night at Rockett Arena. The Panthers improve to 6-10-1 and 4-7 in conference while the Vikings move to 3-15 and 1-12 in the league.

Tea Miles (Northfield, Vt.) put Salem State on top with a power-play goal late in the first period. The Vikings dominated possession in the first period, outshooting Plymouth State 16-5. The Viking's defense behind goalie Kaia Hollingsworth (Methuen, Mass.) made the one-goal lead stand up until Emily Biggin (Didsbury, Alberta) knocked in a rebound with less than five minutes remaining in the third period, tying the game.

Overtime saw Hamilton skate in and clip a shot just below the crossbar for the game-winning goal, denying Salem State their second straight win.
