WATERVILLE, Maine -- Salem State lost 7-2 to slip to 0-3 on the season in Waterville, Maine on Wednesday. The Terriers won 6-of-7 singles matches to improve their record to 2-3. Salem State's Ryann Tripp picked up her first collegiate win at 5th singles, 8-6 over Rene Rossi. Samantha Tenney / Alanna Zaldivar earned the other point for Salem State, winning 8-7 (7-5) over Rossi / Tracy Lopez in 3rd doubles.

Thomas coasted in singles play, winning 1st through 4th singles in straight sets. Lopez defeated Erin Curristin, 8-4 in sixth singles. Lauren Smith / Riley Pierce won 8-4 against Miah Reyes / Kenzie McLaren  at first doubles while Keira Gilman / Libby Forgues beat Abbie Laliberte / Tripp, 8-2 at second doubles.
