SALEM, Mass. -- Salem State swept all three doubles matches against Castelton, propelling the Vikings to a 6-3 victory in a Little East match on Saturday at The Central Campus Tennis Courts. The win gives Salem State the final berth in next week's LEC Tournament. The Vikings are now 3-10 and 3-6 in conference. The Spartans end their season 3-9 and 1-7 in conference.

Alyssa Otero / Miah Reyes earned an 8-3 win at 1st doubles over Stella Forte / Makayla Boisvert helping Salem State to an early lead. Samantha Tenney / Annalise Catalini edged Megan Brier / Camille Jackson, 8-7(7-4) at 2nd doubles before Kenzie McLaren / Abbie Laliberte defeated Pearl Bellomo / Madelyn Nonni, 8-2, completing the sweep for the Vikings with a win at 3rd doubles.

Alyssa Otero easily dispatched Boisvert, 6-1, 6-1 at 1st singles. Tenney picked up a win at 2nd singles, 7-5, 6-2 over Brier. Castleton took 3rd thru 5th singles, but Erin Curristin defeated Bellomo, 6-0, 6-3 at 6th singles for Salem State.
