Anchorwomen Post 9-0 Win Over Vikings

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Rhode Island College remained unbeaten in the Little East with a 9-0 victory over Salem State on Saturday at RIC Tennis Center. The Anchorwomen are now 8-0 overall and 6-0 in conference. The Vikings slip to 1-9 and 1-5 in the LEC.

Rhode Island College cruised through doubles play with Jenna Lisi / Lauren Macera earning a win at No.1 doubles, 8-0 over Samantha Tenney / Abbie Laliberte. Amara Devine / Amiah Sommer won, 8-1 over Miah Reyes / Kenzie McLaren at No. 2 doubles.

Macera swept No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0 against Tenney while Sarah Gonick posted a, 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles. Amara Devine earned a win at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-3 against Cassie Liu as the Vikings were enable to post more than a point in the rremianing matches.
