SALEM, Mass. -- Lesley won two-of-three doubles matches, which proved to be the winning margin as the Lynx defeated Salem state 5-4 at The Cental Campus Tennis Courts on Monday afternoon. The Vikings slip to 1-8 on the year while Lesley improves to 7-4.

Jessica Legrande / Bella Cottrell and Brook Whitten / Morgan Anderson beat Samantha Tenney / Alyssa Otero and Miah Reyes / Annalise Catalini by identical 8-3 scores at 1st and 2nd doubles for the Lynx. Kenzie McLaren / Abbie Laliberte salvaged a point for the Vikings with an 8-5 win over Jordan Blair / Hillary Berry at 3rd doubles.

McLaren beat Cottrell, 6-2, 6-4 at 4th singles as Salem State swept 4th through 6th singles. Laliberte won 6-3, 6-1 against Martinez while Erin Curristin picked up a 5-6, 6-4, 10-7 victory at 6th singles.
