Goncalves Takes Rookie of the Week Honors

SALEM, Mass. -- Ernidia Goncalves (Fr., F, Everett, Mass.) took home MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks and the fourth time this season after averaging 19 points on 48.5% (16-33) shooting and 9.5 rebounds in two games for the Vikings.

She scored 20 points, going 9-for-17 (52.9%) from the floor with seven boards and three steals in a 77-61 setback to Bridgewater State. Goncalves followed up with an 18-point, 12 rebound game in a 69-59 loss to Westfield State.
