Gaona Earns MASCAC Rookie Honors

SALEM, Mass. -- Samantha Gaona (Fr., IF, Billerica, Mass.) was named MASCAC Rookie of the Week after batting .750 (6-for-8) with five stolen bases in a 3-0 week for the Vikings. Went 2-for-2 with a walk and run scored in a 2-0 victory over Lesley. She went a combined 4-for-6 with four stolen bases, a run and RBI in a doubleheader sweep of MCLA.
