Rodriguez Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week

SALEM, Mass. -- Sydney Rodriguez (Brighton, Colo.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Rookie of the Week after batting .643 (9-for-14) with an .857 slugging percentage in a 2-2 week for Salem State. The freshman had three doubles, five runs scored and four RBI, including a 5-for-8 effort with two doubles, three runs scored and three RBI in a doubleheader sweep over New England College.
