Salem State to Face Stevens in NCAA Tournament

SALEM, Mass. -- 2022-23 Little East Conference (LEC) men's tennis champion Salem State University will face Stevens Institute of Technology in the opening round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, it was announced Monday. Williams College is the regional host this weekend.
 
The Vikings earned the LEC automatic qualifier after defeating Rhode Island College in the LEC tournament final Saturday, 5-1, which improved their record to 11-2 for the season. The won the tournament for the second time in program history, with the first coming back in 2018.

Salem State, who is making their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance, also faced the Ducks in their last trip to the tournament in 2018.
