Little East Championship Tournament Info

SALEM, Mass. --  Top seed Salem State will host second seed Rhode Island College for the Little East Men's Tennis Championship tomorrow, April 29 at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly, Mass. The match will begin at 1:00 PM with the winner automatically qualifying for the 2023 Division III Men's Tennis Championship.

Game Notes

• Salem State went undefeated (6-0) in conference play for only the third time in school history (2008, 2009).
• The Vikings are seeking their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance (1976, 1977, 2008, 2018)
• Salem State defeated Rhode Island College 5-4 on April 2
• The Vikings won one LEC Post Season Championship (2018) and one Little East Championship (2008)
• Rhode Island College, who claimed four straight (1992-95) LEC Championships, are making their first LEC Tournament post-season appearance, which started in 2009.
• Salem State is 9-5 against the Anchormen in their last 14 matches.
• The Vikings are 1-2 all-time against RIC in the post-season
