SALEM, Mass. --  Top seeded Salem State will host fourth seeded Bridgewater State in a Little East men's tennis tournament semifinal at The Central Campus Tennis Courts on Thursday, April 27 at 3:45 pm. The Vikings are seeking to reach their fourth straight Little East championship match, having previously won the title in 2018. 

Game Notes

  • Salem State went undefeated (6-0) in conference play for only the third time in school history (2008, 2009).
  • The Vikings won their first regular season championship since 2009
  • Salem State defeated Bridgewater State, 6-3 on April 19
  • The Bears last LEC championship came in 2006, sharing the title with Southern Maine. 
  • Bridgewater State and Salem State have met four times in the Little East Tournament with each team winning twice - SSU (2010, 2022 - Semifinals), BSU (2013, 2017 - Quarterfinals)
