Men's Soccer Set to Host MASCAC Semifinal Match -- Friday, November 5th

2021 Men's Soccer MASCAC Semifinals

SALEM, Mass. --  Top seeded Salem State will be in action this Friday, November 5th at Alumni Field as the Vikings will host the fifth seeded MCLA Trailblazers at 7:00 PM in the semifinals of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Post-Season Tournament.

Schedule

No. 1 seeded Salem State (11-6, 7-0) and No. 5 seeded MCLA (5-10-1, 2-5) will square off for a chance to advance to the 2021 MASCAC men's soccer championship game on Sunday. The Vikings defeated MCLA 1-0 at home on October 23rd in their last meeting. 

Post-Season History

This is the first post-season meeting between the two teams since 1999, when the Vikings defeated the Trailblazers 2-1 in double overtime to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
