SAM CIOFFI DEDICATION GAME | APRIL 22, 2023

SALEM, Mass. --  Salem State men's lacrosse will dedicate this Saturday's game to former teammate Sam Cioffi to raise community awareness and education about the dangers of drug addiction. The athletic department worked closely with the Cioffi family in planning this event, and the game will be in recognition of their efforts to increase awareness around the dangers of fentanyl. Sam Cioffi passed away at the age of 22 after suffering from mental illness and addiction.

Sam's parents, Doug and Sally Cioffi will serve as honorary captains and educational resources on fentanyl risks and mental health will be available.
