Sam Cioffi Named to Little East All-Conference Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I.  -- Salem State's Sam Cioffi (Marblehead, Mass.) was named to the 2022 Little East All-Conference Team on Thursday, earning honorable mention in a vote by the league's nine coaches. Cioffi, who broke Salem State' single season goals record with 55, was third in the Little East with a 3.44 goals per game average. He finished 10th in the Little East in points (68) while leading the Vikings with seven man-up goals. He tied the school record for most points in a game (11), scoring eight goals and adding three assists in a victory over Eastern Nazarene on March 30. 

Head coach Stephen Driscoll added, "This honor for Sam is much deserved. His season was sensational, breaking the single season goal record, tying most points in a single game, and leading our team to multiple team offensive records. Sam's impact on our program goes much further than the field, and his 2022 season will forever be remembered in the record books."
