Vikings Place Third at Rich Korzec Invitational

SUTTON, Mass. -- Salem State's Trevor Xenos tied for fourth, shooting a four-over 76, finishing one stoke behind medalist Mat Gover of MCLA at the Rich Korzec Invitational on Wednesday. Roger Williams' Trevor Hada, Rhode Island College's Cameron Mello and Gover all shot a three-over par 75 to force a three-man playoff. Gover was the only one of the three finalists to shoot par to take home the victory at Blackstone National Golf Club. Nichols College, who finished +24, won the team title. The Vikings finished seven strokes behind (+31) to finish in third place.
