Vikings Place Second at Rich Korzec Invitational

SUTTON, Mass.— Salem State's Brian Cannata placed second, shooting a 3-over 75, finishing one stoke behind Babson's Jason Lee (Westfield, Mass.) for medalists honors at the Rich Korzec Invitational on Wednesday at Blackstone National Golf Club.   

The Beavers won the event with a team total of 307, 17 strokes better than runner-up Salem State (324). Westfield State came in third (332). 

Matt Godbout earned a top-10 finish with a (+9, 81). Ethan Doyle and Ryan O'Leary each tied for 14th with a +12, 81 while Matt Martin (+13, 85) contributed to the Vikings' top-two standing.
