Men's Golf Takes Second

BEVERLY, Mass. -- Salem State took second at Kernwood Country Club in a tri-match hosted by Endicott College on Tuesday afternoon. The Gulls took first with a team score of 310 followed by the Vikings (319) and Roger Williams (337) on the par 70, 6,456 yard course. .

Brian Cannata led Salem State with a score of 76, +6, tying for second on the day. Endicott's Nicholas Grimbilas took medalist honors with a (+3, 73).

Travis Ryan, finished sixth with a score of (+6, 76), while Ethan Doyle (t-7th, 81, +11), Danny DiLisio  (9th, 82, +12), Matthew Godbout (10th, 83, +13), rounded out the field for the Vikings.

The Vikings' Matt Martin and Ryan O'Leary competed as individuals, with each recording an 84.
