Cannata, Doyle Named MASCAC Men's Golf Co-Rookies of the Week

SALEM, Mass. -- Freshmen Brian Cannata (Wakefield, Mass.) and Ethan Doyle (Salem, Mass.) were named Co-MASCAC Men's Golf Players of the Week after leading Salem State to a 3rd place finish at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship.

CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Brian Cannata (Jr., Wakefield, Mass.) -- Tied for seventh with a two day score of 153 at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship. Shot a 75 in round one and finished the event with a 78 to lead the Vikings to a third place team finish.

CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Ethan Doyle (Fr., Salem, Mass.) -- Finished in a tie for seventh place at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship with a two round score of 153. Started the tournament with a first round score of 76 and carded a 77 on day two. Helped the Vikings to a third place team finish.
