Makiej Named MASCAC Player of the Week

SALEM, Mass. -- Michael Makiej (Jr., F, Andover, Mass.) -- Makiej was named MASCAC Player of the Week after averaging 28 points on 24-of-36 (66.7%) shooting, 6.5 rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. He scored 25 points going 11-of-15 (73.3%) from the floor with five boards, three steals and two blocks in an 86-73 victory over Framingham State. Makiej followed up with a game-high 31 points on 13-of-21 (61.9%) shooting with eight rebounds, five steals and a pair of blocks in an 84-76 win over MCLA.
