Sean Bryan Earns NABC All-American Honors

SALEM, Mass. -- Sean Bryan was honored on Wednesday with selection to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-America Third Team as voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division III.  

Bryan becomes Salem State's eighth all-american all-time and is the first Viking to be named to the All-America Team since Eric Downie was a fourth team selection in 2007.  

Bryan, led the league in scoring with a 20.8 ppg average, and topped the conference in points (499) and steals (51). His MASCAC-leading 139 assists are sixth most in a season in school history. He recorded two triple doubles this year and his 15 assists against Westfield State are the most by a Salem State player since 2005.

The graduate-student ended his career as the second all-time leading scorer in Salem State history with 1,849 points. He ranks in the top-10 all time at Salem State in field goals made (582), three-point field goals made (159), free throw percentage (83.4%), assists per game (4.2) and steals (174). His 467 assists rank first all-time in program history and he is second all-time in made free throws (526).
