McCarthy Named Little East Goalie of the Week

SALEM, Mass. -- Senior Kelli McCarthy (Foxborough, Mass.) was named the Little East Goalkeeper of the Week in an announcement by the league. McCarthy allowed just one goal against 15 shots on net for a 0.50 goals against average and .933 save percentage, leading the Vikings to a pair of victories to open the 2021 campaign. She allowed one score and posted eight saves in Salem State's 3-1 win over Lasell, and then turned away all six shots on goal she faced in a 2-0 shutout over Gordon.

This is the second goalie of the week award earned by McCarthy in her career.
