A native of Kettering, Ohio, Kellie Reardon is the only known Salem State athlete to play four varsity sports in one season. Kellie was a three-year performer in both soccer and basketball, and also participated in softball and track and field. Despite injuries that cut her collegiate career short, Reardon was an all-conference goalie in soccer, and represented the University at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championships in the javelin competition. As a starting pointy guard she led the Lady Vikings to a 23-6 record in 2003, including a perfect 14-0 mark in conference play, as Salem State claimed the MASCAC championship and an NCAA Tournament berth. That same year she was the starting shortstop on the softball team and went on to earn the Salem State President’s Cup Award as the school’s top female athlete, An exceptional student as well during her four years, Reardon also received the University’s John D. Galaris Scholar Award her senior year, graduating with a 3.6 grade point average in Marine Biology.
