Zaiter Earns GEICO MASCAC Rookie of the Week Honors

SALEM, Mass. -- Freshman Liz Zaiter (Peabody, Mass.) earned GEICO MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 22 points on 51.7% (15-29) shooting, 18.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in two games for the Vikings. Zaiter scored 19 points with seven rebounds and three blocks in a setback to Framingham State and followed up with a school single game record of 30 rebounds with 25 points and two blocks in a 91-77 loss at Westfield State.
