Hanefeld is a Class “A” Member of the PGA of America - 36 years, 3-time New England PGA Section Champion and winner of 5 State Open Championships. He is also a 2-time PGA of America Senior Professional National Champion

Finished 2nd at PGA Tour Champions Tour School and Played 5 1/2 years on a PGA Tour Champions - 75 events. Qualified and played in 30 PGA Tour/PGA Tour Champions Major Championships. A Member of New England PGA Hall of Fame, New Hampshire Golf Association Hall of Fame and the Somersworth High School Sports Hall of Fame. Nominated by the New England PGA to the PGA of America National Hall of Fame.
