Bio

Daly was named head coach in 2018. Daly returned to the Salem State golf program in 2015. A four-year player on the SSU team, he played for legendary coaches George Jacobson and Gerry Driscoll. The two-time captain competed in three NCAA Championships, where his team finished in the top ten each year: 1989, 1990, and 1991. He was a two-time NCAA All-American and first team NCAA All-American after finishing 4th in 1990.

He was crowned New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Division III Champion, 1990; first team selection for all divisions. And was Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC) first team for all divisions, 1990. He was chosen team MVP and was the President’s Cup recipient as SSU Male Athlete of the Year 1990-1991. He also received the prestigious Guy Tedesco Award, which is presented to New England’s top collegiate golfer.

Kevin is honored to lead a program that has such an admired tradition. “I will do all I can to ensure each of our student athletes has a tremendous experience playing golf, and representing Salem State”.
He resides in Beverly with his wife and two children. He is the founder of Daly Insurance Agency in Beverly.
