Salem State Ends Fall Season at NEIGA

Brewster, Mass. - Eric Powers shot a two-round score of 159 (79, 80) to tie for 27th place to help Salem State earn an 11th place finish at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships at The Captain's Course on Monday. Reid Buzby of Middlebury won medalist honors, shooting par on day two with a 72 after an opening round score of 73. 

The Vikings shot a 646 (324, 322) as a team, finishing behind overall champion Babson 613 (313, 300).  Reed Bourgeois tied for 30th for Salem State with a 160 (82, 78) while Justin Serowik 163 (t48, 82, 81), Christian McKenna 162 (t54, 81, 83) and Matt Godbout 182 (t104, 87, 95) rounded out the field for the Vikings.
